Overview:

Multiple SMTP plugin will enable you to use more than one emails from different email accounts.

This resolves few problems. At times Admin and Users have different email providers or there may be different emails services used for different departments under same organization using same CRM.

Our plugin addresses this problems and gives you and all your users liberty to use any email service for sending emails under Admin control.



Features :

  • Configure separate outgoing smtp servers for different users using multiple smtp plugin.
  • Works for sending email notifications, including workflow alerts.
  • Select or switch to popular email provider like, Gmail, Yahoo mail, Microsoft Exchange or any Other as and when required.


Steps For Using Multi SMTP Features :

After you install the plugin

For Administrator :

1.  To open the Administration Page,Click on Admin tab, as shown in below screenshot

2.  Click on Multiple SMTP under the “Other” section.

3. In Multiple SMTP page, check Enable Multiple SMTP checkbox (Click on OK button).

4. Open User Profile detail view → Click on OUTGOING SERVER button to set outgoing mail configuration. (Note: if Multiple SMTP checkbox is not checked then OUTGOING SERVER button will not be displayed).

5. In Multiple SMTP (Outgoing Mail Configuration) tab, Fill all the email configuration details.
Click on “SEND TEST EMAIL” button to test it. This will send email to “From” email which will received by users email to verify the ownership of the email account and also to verify that email configuration details are correct

6. Once your Outgoing SMTP server details are saved correctly, Open Compose Email, as shown in below screenshot. Email address which is set in Multiple SMTP will display here in “From email”.

7. In workflow, to send email using multiple smtp server, select action “Send Email Using Multi SMTP”.

For Non Admin User:

1.  In Emails module , Open Compose Email , If MutiSMTP is disabled, as per shown in below screenshot, email address which has been set in default Email Settings by Administrator is displayed here in From email.
2. In Emails module, Open Compose Email, If MultiSMTP is Enabled , as per shown in below screenshot, email address which has been set in Multiple SMTP by Administrator will display

here in “From email”.

3. If a User wishes to set different email than provided by Admin, he or she can go to Profile → detail view → Click on OUTGOING SERVER button to set outgoing mail configuration.
(Note: if Multiple SMTP checkbox is not checked by Administrator, OUTGOING SERVER button will display).

4.  In Multiple SMTP(Outgoing Mail Configuration) page, Fill all the email configuration details → Click on SEND TEST EMAIL button to test send email functionality, enter Email Address  → Click on SEND button to send test email → Click on SAVE button to save email configuration details.

A verification message will display if the test email is sent successfully. Check that you have received this test message.

 5. In Emails module, Open Compose Email, as per shown in below screenshot, email address which has been set in Multiple SMTP will display here in “From email”.

6. In workflow, to send email using multiple smtp server, select action “Send Email Using Multi SMTP”.
